Hi, I'm Leena Keefe!

Here is a quote that reflects much on what went on in my mind in the creation of these pieces, originally for an art gallery. These are some very key points when taking up photography that every teacher/professor that I have ever had has pointed out to me. Also some other types of art Professors as well. With all types of art, I think seem to get a long way with only a little bit of light. "A type of photography to grasp someone's attention would be a day where the light is not all located at one point and not under direct sunlight." -Leena Keefe

"During the COVID-19 Pandemic, many people started staying at home because of the outbreak of the virus. As time begun to pass people started to feel antsy with being inside all the time, so this project started my fascination with smiles and the unknown of art." I originally thought that I would create a smile a day project for one of my typography projects for school, but then the pandemic happened and this project cut short with only 3 smiles, so I ended up using cans for my typology project, and this turned into a different project of sorts....

"When in doubt color will work... I hope?" This is what I thought when I was in the process of creating my first project for school. This was probably my most favorite excuse to go places, ever!!

"Why is everything so DARK? I thought the brightness manages everything...?" This is the project that took me to figure out the ISO on my camera... WHOOPS!!!
